One of the EERES4WATER project partners, the start-up Resolute Marine (RML), have developed a technology that can produce fresh water off-grid using the power of ocean waves and without the costly infrastructure of desalination plants.

EERES4WATER (Promoting Energy-water Nexus resource efficiency through Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency) is funded by the Interreg Atlantic Program with a total budget of €3,1M and focused on addressing the water-energy nexus and optimizing the energy management of the water cycle.
